Business Owner and Expo Organiser, Sam Dyer, encourages Bournemouth’s businesses to show their support for the Armed Forces Community.
Working closely with the Wessex Reserve Forces’ and Cadets Association (WRFCA) charity, Sam Dyer the Organiser of the ‘Bournemouth BusinesseXpo Now’ is encouraging more local businesses to proudly support those who serve. On Thursday the 3rd May 2018, businesses have an opportunity to meet with WRFCA representatives at the upcoming expo.

At the event, the charity will be giving Business Owners and Managers an opportunity to find out how they can support the armed forces community through the Armed Forces Covenant.

Executive Sponsors of the first ever Bournemouth businesseXpo Now, the WRFCA is aiming to spread awareness for the UK Armed Forces Covenant in Bournemouth and the surrounding area. The Armed Forces Covenant is a pledge that businesses of any sector or size can make. It includes an acknowledgement that those who serve or who have served in the armed forces, and their families, will be treated with fairness and respect. To date over 1,500 organisations across the country have signed the covenant.

Showcasing and welcoming a variety of local businesses at the Bournemouth BusinesseXpo, Sam Dyer is keen to support and raise awareness for the WRFCA’s mission in the region.

Sam Dyer, said:
“I am delighted to be working with the WRFCA and want to encourage Bournemouth’s business community to show their support for dedicated service people across the country. At the expo, you can meet the WRFCA team and discuss the benefits of signing the Armed Forces covenant for your business.’’

Regional Employer Engagement Director, Jon Beake from the WRFCA said:
“We look forward to meeting Bournemouth’s business community at the upcoming Bournemouth businesseXpo Now. The Armed Forces Covenant can be adopted by businesses of any size and from any industry. It’s also a great way for you to acknowledge publicly your support for our nation’s Armed Forces.’’

Currently, businesses can register for a stand at the Bournemouth businesseXpo now as exhibitors or register for free as attendees.
