£16.6 million key infrastructure funding for Dorset

The Government has announced it is investing £16.6 million to local authorities in Dorset via its Housing Infrastructure Fund.

Lorna Carver, Director Dorset Local Enterprise Partnership said: “Dorset LEP is delighted at the outcome of these bids and that government is investing £16.6 million for key infrastructure development in Dorset. This is a significant investment by the government and highlights the good work that is going on across the county to achieve our economic aspirations. Good infrastructure is vital for enterprise and this funding will help to facilitate local economic growth by creating the right conditions for more highly skilled jobs and housing in Dorset.”
