Hundreds of visitors attended the Stewarts Abbey Garden Centre charity preview evening. The family owned Stewarts purchased the Abbey Centre in December (2016) and so this year was the first opportunity to introduce the fun and stylish displays similar to their other centres. Many of the visitors were able to enjoy the first Christmas dinner with all the festive trimmings held within the recently refurbished Coffee Shop.

Terry Head, Retail and Marketing Director, said that regular Abbey Centre customers saw a difference thanks to new brighter layout and a wider product range, especially for festive lighting.

“We have ensured that the focus on the spirit of Christmas for our young visitors and will include Thomas the Tank Engine running within our displays,” said Terry Head. “The preview evening marked the end of 4 weeks preparation and hard work by the team. We are delighted with the feedback from the public.”

Santa will return to enchant the younger children using a secret mode of transport on the 2nd December. To avoid large waiting times, the Abbey Centre will adopt a booking system as successfully operated by the other centres.
