Who knows what tomorrow brings?

Some of the burning topics being highlighted to dozens of business leaders at the latest business breakfast clubs being held by the South Coast office of Smith & Williamson, the accountancy, investment management and tax group.
 
The event takes place at Bournemouth Football Club, Bournemouth on Thursday. September 21 from 7.30am to 9am.
 
Andrew Edmonds, the managing partner at the South Coast office of Smith & Williamson, said: “Our third business breakfast of this year, which tends to attract upwards of 80 business professionals, will focus on the economy, tax matters and the next phase of our ‘scale-up’ initiative to help local businesses flourish.”
 
Under the theme Brexit: Episode IV – a new hope, Paul Duckworth, partner, business tax, will provide an update on some of the implications of what we know and what we expect with an independent round up of the latest developments.
 
Patrick Collins, senior tax manager, private client services will be exploring personal tax changes, restrictions on finance and the removal of wear and tear allowance, and how this will impact landlords.
 
Chris Williams, senior manager, business tax, will be sharing an update on the activities of the ScaleUp institute and exploring the scale-up diagnostic tool.
